Pretty good idea, combining many different tutorials into one movie, and using things taught in the tutorials in the movie itself, like the drop down menus. Its easier when there is an example to show you how it should work. Better than most of the ones that were around when I was learning this kind of stuff.

What an experience!
A lot of people right now are lost in the fray of what is 'punk' and what is 'pop'. Well, I am truely in awe of this piece of work - such a wonderful 'tribute', if you will, to real punk.
Really, I can't fault it, everything is great! The music is good, with a great variety of different sounds, and the save/load feature is very good too.
Shockingly addictive too. Incredible.

"Easily the best drum sim on NG."

Wow! This is the closest I have found to a perfect drum sim on NG! The graphics are very nicely drawn, and the movement of the drumstick and animation is very smooth. Absolutely no delay at all when using the mouse, and an almost unnoticable display when using the keyboard. Sounds are accurate.....It's great! The only thing that could improve this is to have no delay at all when using the keyboard, but this comes close enough for me :)

Graphically, it was pretty bad - the drawings were very basic and there was little animation, and were there was animation it was also very basic. It whole thing looks really amatuerish, and there seems to be little effort put into it. The sound was fine, and also happens to be a song I like, but that alone won't make a movie. The lyric synching was off during most of it, with a few incorrect lyrics too.

This needs a lot of work.

The idea is great, and it's one of the few games around the portal that actually works well. The gamplay is simple yet smooth and very responsive to the controls.
The only things I can fault is the artwork, which you say you have sorted out for the next one, and like others have said, 1 life is rather harsh. I think it would work better for there to be, say, three lives - if you lose a life you restart at the beginning of the level you died on, and if you loose them all then you start over.

Otherwise, a great simple and addicting game. I look forward to the second.

Whats with all of these "Weird Al" music videos popping up all of a sudden?! Heh, I hope no-one beats me to "Genius in France" - been working on that bitch for ages.

Anyway, awesome flash, and I liked how you depicted the song lyrics in the movie instead of just copying the video for each song. If the mouths were hand drawn I think it would look better, but for the effort it looks like you put into it beside that it wont change the fact that i will vote it 5.

Great job, i'll be pleased if mine turns out half as good as that .

This was a good remake of the WHL intro - even though you used sticks you pulled it off well. I think the graphics could be improved, especially a few of the backgrounds, but they were not that bad. Also, you could have upped the frame rate during certain parts to make it more realistic, but again this wasn't a major problem.
I am pretty psyched up after watching that - too bad it's raining right now :(

Anyway, really good effort.

...thats CUBErt stuck in my head for a week or so. Music videos are soo hard to do well, but you did it. Nice use of 3d as well. Great job man.
